Our History & Mission
Who We Are
At bankcda, we don’t just call ourselves a community bank—we live it every day. Founded in 2001 by forty local leaders who believed North Idaho needed a bank that truly served its people, we’ve stayed rooted in our mission: to elevate our region by supporting the businesses and individuals who call it home. Our headquarters aren’t in some distant city—they’re right here, where our story began.
From day one, we’ve focused on building relationships, not just accounts. We listen, we care, and we understand the daily challenges our customers face. Whether you’re a small business owner, a first-time homebuyer, or just someone looking for a better banking experience, we’re here for you—with the same advanced technology and smart financial tools as the big banks, but with genuinely friendly, local service.
As our region grows, so do we. Our expansion into Washington—starting with Spokane and now Tri-Cities—is driven by a simple belief: the Inland Northwest deserves a banking partner that shares its values. One that makes local decisions, empowers entrepreneurs, and invests in neighborhoods—not just portfolios.
At bankcda, we’re proud to grow alongside the people and communities that make this such a remarkable place to live, work, and build a future. Community-first isn’t just a phrase to us. It’s our purpose.
