What’s the difference between pre-approval and verified pre-approval?
- Pre-approval is a preliminary estimate of how much bankcda is able to lend you, based on a review of your credit history, income, and assets.
- Verified Pre- approval is a more in-depth review of your financial situation, where bankcda checks your credit and verifies your income & assets using documentation like pay stubs and bank statements.
- Getting pre-approved early gives you a clearer budget and strengthens your offer when you’re ready to buy.
How much of a down payment is required?
It varies based on the loan type:
- Some programs allow as little as 3% down
- VA loans (for eligible veterans) may offer zero down payment
- First-time homebuyer programs often have lower down payment options. The great news is, you don’t always need 20% down. Our specialists can explain what works best for your situation.
Can customers use the loan to buy land or build a home?
- Yes, land and construction loans may be available, but they are different from standard home loans. These require a special review by our in-house mortgage team.
